Snohomish Station

The goal of the Snohomish Station site development was to combine the economic powerhouse of a big-box retail center with the success of lifestyle centers such as Mill Creek Town Center. The challenge was how to make a project with acres of parking seem cozy.

With anchors Fred Meyer, Kohl's, and Home Depot, we carved out portion of the parking lot to be a protected and the place for shops. In order to make the area protected, we needed to turn the shops backs to the big box retailers and create a draw within the lifestyle center that made it a destination.
